Required Qualifications

• •Previous experience of 5+ years in chiller/HVAC maintenance, mechanical engineering, or other related fields

• •Ability to layout and install applied HVAC equipment independently, with little to no direction
• •Ability to supervise a team of installation technicians on customer job sites
• •Ability to perform startup of applied equipment
• •Ability to perform depot maintenance, testing and repairs including refrigerant removal, evacuation, system charging and refrigerant piping leak repairs
• •Ability to perform limited electrical troubleshooting while following all lockout/tagout and PPE procedures
• •Ability to read and use wiring diagrams to point out all components and use meter to confirm all input and output voltages
• •Ability to collect superheat and sub-cooling data on all applied equipment
• •Ability to navigate equipment control panels using keypad to start/stop, reset and change setpoints on all applied equipment
• •Ability to lead a team of installers on a multiple chiller application
• •Ability to communicate directly with end user customers on installation and startup of applied equipment with the ability to answer customer questions as needed
• •Ability to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing/working at elevated heights, etc.
