Job Summary
Install residential and commercial HVAC equipment, including mini-splits, ductwork, and refrigeration systems, while using ductulators and braze line sets. Measure and install all ductwork, complete low-voltage connections on air handlers, and manage truck inventory. Supervise Level 1 and Level 2 installers, train new hires, and communicate daily with dispatch regarding job status. Educate customers on new systems, answer questions, and handle change orders. Maintain professional rapport with homeowners and contractors to ensure a 5-star experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- EPA certification
- 2+ years install experience
- Good mechanical skills
- Must be willing to undergo an MVR and background check
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to follow instructions and carry them out in a timely manner
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints and specifications
- Must be able to communicate well with contractors and supervisors
- Able to supervise others and keep the job on track
- Must be able to communicate if a change order is needed
- Ability to braze line sets
- Able to measure ductwork and install all
- Install curb/curb adapter
- Use ductulator
- Basic understanding of more complex duct connections
- Can complete simple low-voltage connections on air handlers and air conditioners
- Able to complete all general HVAC residential and light commercial installations
- Must be able to communicate if a change order is needed
- Must be able to communicate well with contractors and supervisors
- Able to supervise others and keep the job on track
- Ability to braze line sets
- Maintain truck inventory
- Support and train Level 1 & Level 2 Installers
- Must work well with others
- Must be able to follow instructions and carry them out in a timely manner
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints and specifications
- Must be able to communicate well with contractors and supervisors
- Able to supervise others and keep the job on track

- Before leaving the job, communicate with the dispatch/manager on a daily basis
