Job Summary
Lead HVAC Installer lead/ supervise an installation team to install, start-up, and troubleshoot residential and light commercial HVAC systems from start to finish. Responsibilities include leading installers, reading blueprints, fabricating/ modifying ductwork, wiring electrical connections, testing post-installation performance, maintaining safety and codes compliance, managing materials and inventory, and communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction. Requires 3–5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience, lead/supervisory experience preferred, EPA 608 certification, A2L certification, and a high school diploma or GED; HVAC trade school or apprenticeship preferred. Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years verifiable HVAC installation experience (residential and/or light commercial)
- Lead or supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; HVAC trade school/apprenticeship preferred
- A2L & EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal or Type II minimum)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand/power tools
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical/gas connections, duct design, and local codes
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Physical fitness for lifting heavy equipment, working in tight spaces/attics/crawlspaces, and climbing ladders
