Job Summary
Lead HVAC Installation Technician responsible for the complete installation of residential HVAC equipment and accessories, supervising an Assistant Installation Technician, ensuring adherence to code requirements and manufacturer specifications, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include installing heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment and ductwork, performing limited diagnostics, maintaining a clean work area, conducting pre/post-installation walkthroughs with customers, completing installation forms for reporting, communicating project scope and addressing customer questions, initiating system start-ups, enforcing safety standards, and training apprentices on system setup (air conditioner, heat pump, furnace, air handler) and related tasks such as pulling vacuums on refrigerant systems, testing for leaks, installing gas lines, flue pipes, and wiring for high/low voltage. Requires strong attention to safety, documentation, and adherence to One Hour standards and ethics. Preferred 2 years of experience with solid references; EPA and NATE certification are preferred but not required. Must have a valid state driver’s license and be able to pass background checks and drug screening. Company notes no visa sponsorship; Equal Opportunity Employer.
