Job Summary
Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish, installing conventional forced-air systems, ductless mini-splits, heat pumps, and gas furnaces. Perform equipment startups, testing, commissioning, and quality checks to ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and local codes. Mentor installation helpers and junior technicians while maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites. Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the process and represent the company with integrity. Requires EPA Universal Certification, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 75+ pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Extensive experience installing conventional HVAC systems
- Extensive experience installing ductless mini-split systems
- Extensive experience installing heat pumps
- Extensive experience installing gas furnaces
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and installation skills
- Ability to read installation manuals and wiring diagrams
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors
