Job Summary
Prepare Manhour Estimates for HVAC Scope on Offshore Platform/FPSO Projects and Onshore Projects. Develop HVAC design philosophy, Technical Specifications, and D & ID Drawings, including Air Flow Diagrams, ducting layouts, and ventilation system designs. Conduct Heat Load and ACMV Calculations per ASHRAE for Control Rooms, Electrical Rooms, and Substations. Manage Team of HVAC Engineers/Designers and coordinate with a team of engineers and Designers. Prepare RFQ/TBE for HVAC Equipment and update HVAC Master Equipment List. Review Equipment GA's, P&ID's, and Chilled water piping layouts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in mechanical or ACMV Engineering
- more than 15 years' experience in HVAC/ACMV
- Knowledge in HVAC system design including Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Schematic diagram
- Awareness in SMACNA
- Knowledge of HVAC design fundamentals
- Knowledge of software tools – AutoCAD, PDMS, SP3D, Navisworks, Smart Plant
