Lead HR Systems Business Analyst

Job Summary

Lead day-to-day leadership and direction for analysts and project support resources while coaching team members on requirements quality, stakeholder management, and solution design. Conduct structured walkthroughs of requirements with business and project teams to balance value, operational impact, risk, and technical feasibility, identifying scalable solutions over one-off fixes. Document client business needs as user stories, create business and technical diagrams, and assist in prioritizing work within iterations. Evaluate new solutions for feasibility, communicate potential issues, and generate defect and enhancement items for the backlog. Contribute to roadmap planning and release preparation while collaborating with software engineers on mutual understanding.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS), or equivalent experience
  • 8+ Years of IT-related experience, such as Business Analysis, Data Analysis
  • Lead an Agile/Iterative project team in the role of business analyst
  • Workday Core HCM

  • Basic SQL query writing skills and other technical acumen
  • Requirements management tool experience (Azure DevOps or others)
