Job Summary
Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for all employee categories, ensuring timely salary disbursement and accurate validation of inputs including new hires, exits, promotions, and bonuses. Oversee final settlement for exiting employees, perform payroll reconciliations with HRIS and Finance, and resolve discrepancies before sign-off. Ensure compliance with Indian statutory requirements such as Income Tax, PF, and ESI, coordinate with auditors, and drive process improvements through automation and system implementations. Act as the primary point of contact for HR, Finance, Tax, and business leaders while preparing MIS reports and workforce cost analysis. This role supports Carelon Global Solutions' mission to advance healthcare through inclusive growth and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related discipline
- 8–12 years of payroll experience
- Experience managing medium to large payrolls (10,000+ employees preferred)
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Ramco, ADP, or similar
- Strong knowledge of Indian payroll legislation, taxation, and labor compliance
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certifications in Payroll, Finance, or HR are an added advantage
