Job Summary
Lead housekeeping staff for Laurelwood Community interiors, including residents' apartments, dining room services, and common areas. Manage the housekeeping team, perform inventory control of linens and supplies, and train staff on cleaning systems and equipment maintenance. Oversee operations by identifying areas needing attention and communicating needs to the Management Team. Execute daily tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, deep cleaning, and changing linens while maintaining sanitation standards. Serve meals, bus tables, and deliver trays to residents, ensuring courteous service and adherence to Laurelwood Assisted Living procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to be a team leader
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with Residents regarding the care and cleaning of their apartments
- Ability to understand and communicate food orders given by Residents
- Ability to follow food-service instructions and serve Residents and their guests in a gracious manner
- Ability to perform housekeeping duties following housekeeping sanitation standards and current guidelines
