Job Summary
Coordinate and lead all Healthcare Center Housekeeping associates on shift, providing direct leadership and support to ensure departmental policies are followed. Adjust daily schedules to cover unforeseen absences and assign self to complete regular projects or minor resident services like unclogging toilets. Maintain effective communications with residents, visitors, and internal customers while consulting the manager on performance appraisals and associate counseling needs. Oversee supply distribution, inspect equipment and storage rooms for safety, and solicit input from associates to suggest quality improvement strategies. Report on pending projects and actively recommend work practices while adhering to established safety and infection control guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Must be able to work around unpleasant odors and illnesses
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years leadership experience
- 1-2 years in leadership position
