Job Summary
Prepare work assignments, monitor and train housekeeping staff, and ensure all procedures meet department standards. Communicate guest service scores to drive improvement and higher satisfaction while fostering teamwork by leading by example. Train new employees on standard operating procedures, assist in schedule preparation, and submit work orders to Facilities. Assign tasks, inspect work for conformance, and coach employees through the disciplinary process while enforcing safety standards. This full-time, non-exempt role involves flexible scheduling including holidays and weekends, with supervision of 6-10 employees.
Required Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Must obtain and maintain a New York State certification
- Must obtain and maintain a St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Gaming Class III License
- Must submit to and pass a drug test for illegal substances prior to employment being confirmed
- Must be able to be flexible in scheduling including holidays and weekends
- Must possess strong work ethic
- Must possess positive attitude towards job
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be able to work well independently
- Must be able to lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
