Job Summary
Review and report on preventative maintenance results for grounds, guest rooms, common areas, pools, and equipment systems. Maintain preventative maintenance schedules, coordinate work assignments, and log readings from meters and gauges. Troubleshoot equipment and facilities including painting, plumbing, electrical, and masonry repairs while ensuring proper inventory of parts and supplies. Perform swimming pool and spa maintenance per manufacturer and health department regulations, and assist with seasonal tasks like lawn mowing and snow removal. Communicate room status changes to Front Desk and Housekeeping, and handle emergencies involving fire alarms and life safety systems.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year related experience in engineering and maintenance or related area
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work as part of a team and complete tasks individually
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment
- Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
