Job Summary
Perform complete kitchen exhaust system cleanings, including hoods, filters, fans, ductwork, and rooftop components, in accordance with NFPA 96 standards. Lead and coordinate on-site work by guiding junior technicians as part of a crew. Operate pressure washers, degreasers, and other cleaning equipment safely, while driving a company vehicle to assigned routes across the Charlotte area. Take before-and-after photos and complete accurate service documentation for each job. Communicate professionally with restaurant managers and clients, maintaining equipment kits and vehicle to company standards. Follow all safety protocols, including working at heights and on rooftops, with most jobs performed after hours or overnight. Complete a fully paid training program at Atlanta headquarters before returning to Charlotte to run your own route.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to travel to Atlanta for the training period (all expenses paid)
- Available to work evening/overnight shifts as needed
- Physically able to perform demanding manual labor in varying conditions (heat, confined spaces, etc.)
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and on rooftops
Desired Qualifications
- Prior hood/kitchen exhaust cleaning experience strongly preferred
- Leadership experience or the ability to guide a small crew is a plus
