Job Summary
Supervise, direct, and observe all 3-5 Head Start home visitors while providing coaching, professional development, and weekly reflective supervision. Manage implementation of program curricula, ensuring adherence to the Creative Curriculum and Parents as Teachers models through monitored service delivery. Collaborate with the Education and Disabilities Manager to support referrals, advocate for families, and maintain compliance with Head Start and child development standards. Monitor data entry in Teaching Strategies GOLD and Efforts to Outcomes databases, prepare leadership meetings, and lead emergency drills. Carry a caseload of children when needed and provide regular written and oral reports on program status.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood or a related field
- Previous direct early childhood experience with low-income families
- Valid Driver's License
- Willingness to travel locally
- Ability to pass a criminal record and child abuse/neglect registry check
Desired Qualifications
- M.A.Ed. in Early Childhood Education
- Previous managerial and Head Start program experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with multi-cultural programming
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills
- Have a passion for the mission of Gads Hill Center
