Job Summary
Provide technical leadership in architectural history, including task delegation, QA/QC for technical reports, and client-facing project management for environmental compliance and cultural resource management projects. Manage project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor involvement while evaluating resources for the National Register of Historic Places and developing management recommendations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex challenges and integrate with clients to achieve long-term objectives from feasibility studies through operations. Mentor junior and mid-level cultural resources professionals within a collaborative practice team.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architectural History or related field
- 6+ years of professional experience in cultural resources management
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass an MVR check
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of NEPA and Section 106 regulatory requirements
- Background working with private and public sector clients and regulatory agencies in the Southeast
- Knowledgeable in the history and architectural history in Southeastern United States
- Knowledge of other regions of the United States is a plus
- Specializations such as historic landscapes, public history, or history
- Leadership and mentoring skills to contribute to a progressive work environment for employee development and career fulfillment
- A desire to excel and passion for rewarding work on complex environmental challenges in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
