Job Summary
Lead Heavy Equipment Operator on 2nd shift responsible for communicating priorities for daily tasks to compost heavy equipment operators, conducting safety meetings, monitoring compost systems, and directing daily tasks for the compost team. Operates front wheel loader or excavator to move green waste, compost and MSW organics to designated areas, performs routine maintenance, assists customers with unloading material, and coordinates with third-party drivers for outgoing loads. Maintains facility and stormwater compliance; directs compost helpers and other contractors. Requires HS Diploma/G.E.D. and strong customer service and communication skills; ability to perform inspections and report findings to the manager.
Required Qualifications
