Job Summary
Lead air source heat pump installations from start to completion across social housing, residential developments, and new-build projects. Manage engineers, plumbers, and operatives on site while installing heat pumps, cylinders, pipework, and associated systems. Carry out system flushing, filling, commissioning, handover, and resolve technical issues. Ensure compliance with MCS requirements and manufacturer guidance by reviewing drawings, surveys, and designs before work begins. Liaise with project managers, residents, and clients while completing commissioning records and documentation. Maintain high health and safety standards across all projects. Support recruitment and development of additional engineers. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide required.
Required Qualifications
- Strong practical air source heat pump installation experience
- Plumbing or heating engineering background
- G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification
- Relevant plumbing, heating or ACS qualifications
- Understanding of domestic heating systems and hydraulic design
- Experience commissioning heat pumps and heating systems
- Good knowledge of MCS standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and work away when required
Desired Qualifications
- F-Gas certification
