Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment including snowplow trucks and wheel loaders; assist Foreperson with daily tasks such as safety toolbox meetings, equipment inspections, and road condition inspection reports; support planning to meet contractual milestones; monitor the quality of work performed by the crew; work outside in all weather conditions; help ensure health, safety, and environmental concerns are addressed promptly; provide reliable, physically capable performance in a unionized, year-round highway maintenance role across Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with air endorsement
- Must provide a copy of a 3-year driver’s abstract
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks
