Job Summary
Lead Hand Mill Maintenance role at Evolution Mining Red Lake Operations. Responsible for maintaining process plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation with minimal disruption from mechanical failure. Role includes performing predictive and preventative maintenance, inspecting and repairing equipment, aligning and installing machine components, maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems, laying out and installing piping and fittings, lubricating equipment, and producing inspection and technical reports. The position offers a 7 days on/7 days off roster (12-hour shifts), with residential preferred but FIFO/DIDO with camp accommodation available. Relocation assistance is provided, and compensation ranges from CAD 130,000 to CAD 145,000 annually. Requires completion of a post-secondary Industrial Mechanic Millwright program and a Journeyman Trades Interprovincial Certificate or equivalent; 3-5 years of relevant industrial experience; strong mechanical and reading of technical drawings; and the ability to work safely in a high-standard industrial environment. Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary Industrial Mechanic Millwright program
- Journeyman Trades Interprovincial Certificate or equivalent
- Three (3) to five (5) years experience in a relevant industrial field
- Strong knowledge of plant process equipment (crushers, conveyors, grinding mills, etc)
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (7 days on, 7 days off) and potentially FIFO/DIDO with camp accommodation
- Good communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Relocation consideration and ability to work in Red Lake, Ontario (Canada)
