Job Summary
Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions; complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures; follow guidelines for restricted merchandise (alcohol, tobacco); maintain an organized work area; use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products; ensure quality service for every guest; handle guest complaints and issues per company processes, resolve team member conflicts, and communicate issues to management; determine break schedules and team member placement during shift; assist with other travel center functions such as deli operations, cleaning showers/restrooms, stocking, and coffee preparation; model company values and ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level; comply with all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; pay rate range is $15.00–$18.75 per hour; benefits include nationwide medical plan, dental/vision, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, adoption assistance, tuition reimbursement, flexible schedule, and weekly pay.
