Job Summary
Attend all pre-show meetings to clarify shift details for Guest Service Representatives and Volunteers, then greet guests, provide directional assistance, and resolve escalated concerns. Monitor guest activity during entrance and egress to prevent safety hazards, assist during emergencies, and maintain theater and lobby cleanliness before and after events. Lead and supervise GSRs and Volunteers in operational responsibilities while documenting incidents and completing shift checklists. Complete all required training in Life Safety, Crowd Management, and ADA protocols. Work three shifts weekly, including weekends and holidays, to ensure smooth operations at the Dr. Phillips Center.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2+ years of experience with high-touch guest service, preferably in a performing arts, entertainment, or hospitality related setting
- Ability to maintain high standards in guest service when/while interacting with a diverse audience
- Strong ability to adapt to change, work effectively under pressure, and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to quickly assess and resolve guest concerns
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be available for three shifts per week, with at least one of those shifts being on a weekend day
- This position requires the ability to work a variable schedule, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs

Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with theater seating, box office operations, and terminology preferred
