Lead GSOC Analyst

Job Summary
Monitor and analyze security alarms, notifications, and surveillance systems in real-time to detect and assess potential security incidents. Conduct advanced event security monitoring, provide timely incident response per Standard Operating Procedures, and coordinate travel management by assessing risks and issuing real-time alerts. Oversee access control operations, maintain detailed logs of all activities, and lead junior analysts while mentoring staff. Serve as backup to the GSOC Supervisor during non-working hours to ensure uninterrupted 24/7/365 coverage. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for effective incident mitigation. Operate in shift patterns including nights, weekends, and holidays to support client sites in Cork, Ireland.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a security operational role
- exposure to advanced monitoring and incident management
- relevant security related certifications/qualifications (e.g., CPP, PSP)
- equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
- Highly effective communication, coordination, and leadership skills
- Strong ability to manage high-pressure situations and make rapid, informed decisions
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
- ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports, independent of direction, where necessary
- Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
- Attentive to detail and accuracy
- Serve as an effective team lead
