Job Summary
Lead, Ground Operations role at Veho focusing on overseeing forklift/box truck movement and safe, efficient logistics operations. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring safety standards, guiding shift launches and sorts with driver partners, navigating technology platforms for operational changes, and delivering high levels of customer service. Requires forklift certification or experience, ability to operate a forklift and possibly a box truck, strong communication, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment with physical tasks (standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs). Located in Avenel, NJ (onsite) with a night-shift schedule (Tue–Sat, 10pm–8am). Experience in logistics/operations management and comfort with technology platforms are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in logistics, operations management, or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency with technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends
