Job Summary
Lead role overseeing store leadership, customer experiences, and day-to-day operations in a cannabis retail environment. Responsible for training and developing staff, maintaining inventory accuracy and cash handling procedures, promoting a culture aligned with company values, and driving revenue through customer engagement and product knowledge. Key focus areas include team leadership through daily huddles, coaching, and setting standards for success; inventory management, reconciliation, and compliance; visual merchandising and promotions; and building loyalty through exceptional service. Must possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to travel to multiple locations per week and navigate local/state cannabis regulations. Familiarity with cannabis software (e.g., METRC, Dutchie) and Microsoft Suite is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and industry trends
- Strong understanding of local and state regulations governing cannabis operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel to multiple locations per week
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and flexibility
- Microsoft Suite experience
- Familiarity with POS systems, Dutchie, METRC, or other cannabis-specific software preferred
- Strong cash counting skills
- Strong organizational skills
