Job Summary
The Lead role drives store performance and customer experiences by combining hands-on leadership with strong operational knowledge. Responsibilities include training and developing staff, leading daily huddles and zone charts, coaching team members, ensuring consistent customer experiences, managing inventory and cash procedures, supporting promotions and events, and fostering an inclusive store culture. The position emphasizes revenue leadership, customer relationship-building, and compliance across daily operations, inventory, cash handling, and POS/metrc systems. Travel to multiple locations is required. Proficiency with POS systems, Dutchie, METRC, and related cannabis software is preferred, along with strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.
- Strong understanding of local and state regulations governing cannabis operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations per week.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and flexibility.
- Microsoft Suite experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems, Dutchie, METRC, or other cannabis-specific software preferred.
- Strong cash counting skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
