Job Summary
Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial standby generators, including performing PMs, load bank testing, troubleshooting, and emergency service. Service ATS equipment and related power generation systems for municipal, university, public safety, and commercial customers. Mentor future technicians as the team expands while working independently to help grow the Austin service operation. Requires five or more years of experience servicing commercial standby generators, with ATS experience required and leadership experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience servicing commercial standby generators
- Experience performing PMs, diagnostics, and load bank testing
- Diesel and/or natural gas engine knowledge
- ATS experience required
- Experience with generator controllers
- Ability to work independently in a field service role
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership experience or interest in growing into a lead technician role preferred
- switchgear is a plus
