Job Summary
Coordinate and prioritize warehousing work across case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. Operate material handling equipment for loading, unloading, picking, stocking, and staging inventory while coaching and training associates on duties and equipment use. Troubleshoot complex operational problems, independently resolve issues, and delegate tasks to junior level associates under limited supervision. Verify product and shipment data into the inventory management system, ensure work areas meet safety policies, and complete required paperwork during assigned shifts. Serve as back-up for all functions and lead daily department operations where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working multiple departments in a distribution center
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment
- Prior experience in a lead or mentorship role
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes
- Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting
- Technical certification or associate degree
- 7+ years of experience in area of responsibility
