Job Summary
Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules while prioritizing and assigning maintenance requests and work orders. Provide daily supervision of maintenance staff and review completed work for quality and compliance. Coordinate with Government representatives on safety, environmental, and audit matters, maintaining secure communications via CAC and DLA email. Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work such as replacing receptacles, switches, and fixtures, patching walls, cleaning gutters, and repairing faucets. Resolve problem work requests within one to three business days. Report to the Facilities Trouble Desk for dispatch as necessary for minor repairs. Maintain minor building protective coatings, change lighting, and assist with facility material movement and storage.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Common Access Card (CAC)
- DLA-issued email account
- On site or immediately available during DLA operating hours
- Ability to be dispatched as necessary for minor work order repair
- Competence to accomplish all tasks outlined without additional training or direct supervision
- Willingness to perform minor travel to project location(s)
