Job Summary
Lead Janitor responsible for supervising daily janitorial staff in commercial and medical office settings; ensure high-quality cleaning, train staff on equipment and safety protocols, perform inspections, develop cleaning schedules, manage inventory of supplies and equipment, handle minor maintenance tasks, communicate with clients, and participate in performance evaluations while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. Requires leadership, strong communication, attention to detail, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in janitorial or custodial roles preferred.
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and guide a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to address and prevent potential hazards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
