Job Summary
Architect and implement enterprise-grade, cloud-native serverless solutions using .NET 8, Angular, and AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions. Design and build event-driven microservices integrated with RESTful APIs and SQL Server databases. Secure financial microservices by configuring JWT, OAuth2, and mutual TLS protocols while leveraging developer-focused GenAI tools for agentic coding workflows. Manage full-stack development cycles within an Agile/Scrum environment, requiring a minimum of 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 4 years as a Tech Lead. This contract role is based in Virginia and offers remote work flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- At least 4+ years acting as a Tech Lead / Senior Developer in an enterprise Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience architecting enterprise-grade full-stack serverless solutions combining .NET 8, Angular, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, and event-driven microservices
- Exceptional proficiency in C#, .NET Core (6/8), Web API / RESTful APIs, and SQL Server
- Strong foundation in securing financial microservices, utilizing JWT, OAuth2, mutual TLS (mTLS), and automated security scanning
- Experience utilizing and configuring developer-focused GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and building agentic coding workflows
- Strong, hands-on experience in Angular (TypeScript) or React, combined with HTML5, CSS3, ES6+, Tailwind, or Bootstrap
- Advanced relational database design (SQL Server) and ORM frameworks (Entity Framework Core)
