Job Summary
Lead full-stack PHP development and manage cross-functional teams through the entire software development lifecycle. Interpret business requirements and technical specifications to design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using PHP, MySQL, and MariaDB. Perform code maintenance, testing, and issue resolution while integrating third-party APIs and optimizing database systems. Build and assist with modules in the Magento framework, ensuring adherence to W3C standards and modern UI/UX trends. Provide technical feedback to the Application Architect and collaborate with geographically distributed teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 4-10 year experience developing with MVC frameworks using PHP
- Solid knowledge of AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience in different ORM like propel,Eloquent
- Experience in different templating technologies especially xTemplate /blade/TWIG
- Knowledge of using version control (e.g. GIT)
- Experience in working with third-party APIs and web services
- Experience of working with Relational Databases (MySQL) (queries, design and normalisation)
- Advanced OOP concepts, Design Patterns, Enterprise library and Software Engineering best practices
- Experience in both Linux and Windows environment development
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS)
- A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in a small team
- Excellent communication skills and attention to details
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation techniques preferred
- XHTML and/or HTML5 coding is highly desirable
