Lead Frontend Engineer

Job Summary

Design, implement, and test the user interface for the mortgage research and application process, writing reusable, testable code to deliver a seamless experience for consumers, brokers, and operational functions. Manage a team of frontend engineers, converting business requirements into development tasks while mentoring others and promoting engineering best practices across the codebase. Work closely with the broader engineering organization to ensure high-quality, user-centric product delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • An excellent understanding and experience with client-side JavaScript (Typescript), React, and of course CSS and HTML
  • Committed to using automated testing platforms and unit tests to deliver readable, maintainable code
  • Proficient with issue management, code versioning, continuous integration and deployment tools
  • Minimum 2 days per week in-office (Levels 1-5)
  • Minimum 3 days per week in-office (Level 6 and above)
