Job Summary
Design, build, and iterate on a high-impact healthcare application using TypeScript and React while serving as the technical anchor for the frontend team. Guide architecture decisions, review PRs, and champion quality through a test-first methodology that embeds WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards. Integrate AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude into your daily workflow to accelerate development, partnering with backend engineers on RESTful API integration. Mentor engineers on the team, support their growth, and participate in sprint planning, refinement, and release readiness. Collaborate closely with product, delivery, and government stakeholders in a remote, collaborative Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of frontend engineering experience with deep expertise in TypeScript and React
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience including code reviews, architecture decisions, and mentoring
- Strong commitment to web accessibility standards including WCAG and Section 508
- Test-first mindset with a track record of building reliable, maintainable software
- Comfortable with AI-native development workflows and modern AI coding assistants
- Enough backend and REST API knowledge to collaborate effectively with backend engineers
- Thrives in a remote, collaborative Agile environment and genuinely enjoys working closely with engineers, product, and government stakeholders
- Communicates clearly and openly, whether in a PR review, a planning session, or a conversation with a client
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
