Job Summary
Lead Foreman + Senior Carpenter role overseeing fabrication and installation of living wall systems, architectural planters, and biophilic infrastructure in high-end construction settings. Lead field crews, coordinate with project managers, designers, and clients, ensure schedule, quality, safety, and professional conduct, and mentor installation teams. Requires extensive leadership experience, expert finish carpentry and architectural fabrication skills, proficiency with site coordination, and ability to interpret plans and installation details. Travel up to 20% and work across active commercial sites with a focus on craftsmanship, organization, and client interaction. Must have a California driver’s license and be able to operate construction equipment. Preferred certifications include OSHA 30, Aerial Lift, and First Aid/CPR.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6-10 years of verifiable experience in high-end construction, finish carpentry, architectural fabrication, landscape construction, or related trades
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading crews and managing field operations on complex projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead experienced teams while maintaining accountability, efficiency, and morale
- Must have a valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry 60+ lbs regularly
- Willingness to travel up to 20% annually
