Job Summary
Assist in food preparation and service during breakfast and/or lunch while supervising and guiding food service staff during meal periods. Ensure cleanliness and safety of kitchen and cafeteria areas, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards compliant with local health regulations. Monitor inventory and report supply needs, communicating effectively with staff and school personnel. This part-time role on the school calendar offers weekends, holidays, and summers off, with a starting pay of $18.00/hour. Previous food service experience in a school setting is required, along with strong organizational and leadership skills. ServSafe certification is preferred, and candidates must pass a NYS background check.
