Job Summary
Lead Food Service Worker at Our Lady of Mercy-Guilderland: provides leadership in the food service team, assists in the absence of the supervisor, ensures a safe work environment, ensures staff take appropriate breaks, and leads by example. Responsibilities include proper assembly, service of foods, sanitation and safety of service in all utility areas of the department, and maintaining strong customer service and organizational skills. Requires 1+ year of experience in the food service industry and 1+ year of supervisory experience, plus English proficiency and high school-level computational skills. Evening shift, part-time role with competitive pay.
Required Qualifications
- 1 + year experience in the food service industry
- 1+ year Lead or Supervisory experience
- Read, write and speak English at a minimum 6th grade level
- Follow written and verbal instructions and complete high school level computational skills
