Job Summary
Coordinate daily shop activities by assigning work orders, conducting advanced diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems, and coaching technicians on complex repairs. Perform and validate DOT, OSHA, and company safety inspections while ensuring accurate documentation in the fleet maintenance system. Optimize preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime, manage parts inventory, and coordinate with vendors for roadside or off-site repairs. Lead by example in a hands-on shop environment to support on-time deliveries and maintain regulatory compliance across the fleet.
