Job Summary
Lead residential fireplace installation projects from start to finish, installing gas, electric, and wood-burning units while overseeing venting, chimney, and gas systems according to code and manufacturer specifications. Mentor and train apprentice and junior installers, ensuring all work meets company quality and safety standards. Perform system startup, testing, and final inspections, communicating professionally with homeowners throughout the process and maintaining clean, organized job sites. Complete job documentation accurately and on time while collaborating with sales, service, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of fireplace installation experience
- Proven leadership or crew lead experience
- Strong knowledge of gas fireplaces, venting systems, and installation best practices
- Ability to read installation manuals, blueprints, and job specifications
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in various environments
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
