Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician

Job Summary
Conduct service calls for established customers, performing onsite emergency troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections of fire sprinkler systems. Interpret and apply NFPA 25 codes during testing, preparing accurate service tickets and reports while communicating repair needs to clients. Maintain NICET certification in Inspection and Testing of Water Based Systems and perform fire pump flow tests. Work on ladders and lifts in attics and crawl spaces, lifting up to 70lbs. Operate on-call rotation with hourly pay, including time-and-a-half for after-hours work and double time for holiday emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- A current valid driver's license with 3 or less points
- Three years of licensed driving experience
- Two or more years inspecting and repairing fire sprinkler systems
- Knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes
- Ability to work on ladders 6 to 12ft and on lifts
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs, to work overhead and in unusual or small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
- Must be able for on call rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Willing to become or currently NICET certified in Inspection and Testing of Water Based Systems
- Performing Fire Pump Flow Tests
