Job Summary
Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician responsible for servicing, inspecting, and repairing fire sprinkler systems for established customers on a scheduled basis with on-call rotation. Responsibilities include conducting service calls and on-site troubleshooting, interpreting NFPA codes during testing and inspections, and preparing detailed service tickets and reports. The role involves communicating with customers about repairs, potentially pursuing NICET certification in Inspection and Testing of Water Based Systems, and may include performing Fire Pump Flow Tests. Requires valid driver’s license, driving experience, and experience inspecting/repairing fire sprinkler systems. Must be able to work on ladders and lifts, lift up to 70 lbs, and handle confined spaces. Company offers comprehensive benefits and 401K, with on-call and holiday pay structures; EEO employer.
Required Qualifications
- A current valid driver's license with 3 or less points
- Three years of licensed driving experience
- Two or more years inspecting and repairing fire sprinkler systems
- Must have knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes
- Must be comfortable working on ladders 6 to 12ft and on lifts
- Able to lift up to 70lbs, to work overhead and in unusual or small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
- Well organized and able to keep track of service tickets and process all required documents for each service performed
