Job Summary
Lead Fire Protection Engineer providing consulting services on client sites across TX CO; responsibilities include life safety code consulting, fire protection and alarm/mass notification design, smoke control, hazardous materials consulting, system commissioning, and performance-based solution development. Develop plans, specifications, and inspection reports; assist in resolving design problems via field investigations and detailed design work; conduct code analyses and hydraulic calculations; review CAD/Revit documents; manage projects including proposal development, scope, schedule, and budget; engage in business development activities and client interaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher in engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in fire protection engineering
- Licensed professional engineer in the State of Texas preferred
