Job Summary
The Lead Fire Systems Technician performs inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair for fire safety equipment including extinguishers, detection systems, and suppression systems. The role requires maintaining safety equipment, operating electronic systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED with at least two years of experience in fire protection or a related field, possess Texas State Fire Licenses, and show proficiency in adhering to safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Safe driving record
- Texas State Fire Licenses (FAL/FEL)
- NICET Level II testing within 12 months of hire
- Ability to obtain TWIC card
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (State, OSHA, NFPA)
- Experience in field service work
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Ability to speak a second language

- Must be willing to travel for short and long-term projects
- Must pass required safety testing
