Job Summary
Lead Fire Alarm Technician responsible for owning projects, running small crews, overseeing installations, and ensuring quality. Roles include reading blueprints, coordinating with managers, performing installation, programming, testing, inspection, and repair of fire detection and signaling systems. Emphasizes mentoring junior technicians, documenting inspections, and maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service. Requires NICET II or ability to obtain within 18 months, 4+ years’ experience in fire protection, and a valid driver’s license; relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in fire protection systems (fire alarm experience required)
- NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems (or ability to obtain within 18 months)
- Strong understanding of fire protection codes and standards
- Proven ability to lead a crew and communicate with multiple stakeholders
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
