Lead Finish Carpenter - Commercial Millwork/Cabinets/Trim -Traveling Position
Job Summary
Lead Finish Carpenter responsible for supervising and motivating crews (3-8 people) and installing cabinets, millwork, wall panels, column wraps, and trim in commercial/retail environments. Requires interpreting architectural and shop drawings, coordinating with project management, managing inventory, and ensuring site safety. Duties include installation of cabinets and countertops, standing and running trim, scribing, coping, and affixing wall panel systems; submit time sheets, expense reports, daily reports, and progress photos. Travel 2-8 weeks at a time; overtime and flexible shifts may occur. Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30, forklift, aerial lift; CPR/First Aid training; physical demands include climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High School, Trade School or Equivalent
- Five years installation and Commercial or Retail finish carpentry experience
- One year minimum supervisory experience
- OSHA 10 or 30, Forklift, aerial lift (Training will be provided)
- Ability to travel and work 2-8 weeks at a time
- Overtime availability
- CPR/First Aid Training
