Lead Finish Carpenter - Commercial Millwork/Cabinets/Trim - Traveling Position
Job Summary
Lead Finish Carpenter responsible for overseeing and performing installation of cabinets, casework, wall panels, column wraps, millwork and trim in commercial and retail environments. Manage and motivate crews (3-8 people), interact professionally with clients, general contractors and sub-contractors, and communicate effectively with Project Management. Requires interpretation of architectural/shop drawings, inventory management, and hands-on carpentry including cabinet installation, countertops, standing and running trim, scribing, and wall panel systems. Travel 2-8 weeks, overtime 40-60 hours per week, and compliance with safety training (OSHA 10/30, forklift, aerial lift). Must provide basic hand tools and cordless drill. Required Qualifications
- Five years installation and Commercial or Retail finish carpentry experience
- One year minimum supervisory experience
- Education: High School, Trade School or Equivalent
- Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30, Forklift, aerial lift (Training provided as needed)
- Ability to travel from home for durations of 2-8 weeks
- Able to provide basic hand tools and cordless drill
