Job Summary
Lead Finish Carpenter leads installation and supervision of commercial millwork, cabinets, trim and fixtures, overseeing crews (3-8 people), interpreting shop and architectural drawings, coordinating with clients and general contractors, and traveling for 2-8 week stints. Responsibilities include managing and motivating teams, reading layouts, staging inventory, installing cabinets and trim, submitting reports, and ensuring site safety. Requires high school or equivalent education, 5 years finish carpentry experience, at least 1 year supervisory experience, OSHA 10/30, forklift and aerial lift certifications, ability to travel, overtime flexibility, and completing pre-employment screenings.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School, Trade School or Equivalent
- Five years installation and Commercial or Retail finish carpentry experience
- One year minimum supervisory experience
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Forklift certification
- Aerial lift certification
- Drug screening
- Criminal background check
- MVR driving status
