Job Summary
Lead Finish Carpenter responsible for supervising and motivating 3-8 person crews while overseeing and installing cabinets, casework, wall panels, millwork, trim (base, chair rail, crown moldings, door/window casings) in commercial/retail environments. Requires interpreting architectural/shop drawings, evaluating site conditions and schedules, and managing inventory of millwork/parts. Must perform tasks of a working carpenter, travel up to 2-8 weeks, typically 40-60 hour weeks with overtime and possible overnight shifts. Must have strong client/contractor communication, maintain site safety, and submit time/expense reports. Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30, Forklift, aerial lift; CPR/First Aid training provided. Travel-friendly role with extensive field responsibilities and supervisory duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Five years installation experience in Commercial or Retail finish carpentry
- One year minimum supervisory experience
- OSHA 10 or 30
- Forklift
- Aerial lift
- CPR/First Aid Training
