Lead Finish Carpenter - Commercial Millwork/Cabinets/Trim -Traveling Position
Job Summary
Lead Finish Carpenter responsible for overseeing and performing installation of cabinets, millwork, and trim in commercial/retail environments. Drives supervision of crews (3-8), interprets architectural/shop drawings, coordinates with project management, and ensures safe, professional client interactions. Requires 5 years finish carpentry experience in commercial/retail and at least 1 year of supervisory experience; OSHA 10/30 and forklift/aerial lift certifications; travel for 2-8 weeks and overtime availability. Must bring basic hand tools and cordless drill; pre-employment screening and CPR/First Aid training. Required Qualifications
- Education: High School, Trade School or Equivalent
- Experience: Five years installation and Commercial or Retail finish carpentry experience. One year minimum supervisory experience.
- Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30, Forklift, aerial lift (Training will be provided as needed)
- Able to travel from home for durations of 2-8 weeks
- Provide your basic hand tools and cordless drill
- Responsibilities and skills: Capable of managing and motivating others; interact professionally with clients, general contractors and sub-contractors; interpret layouts for millwork, fixtures and other elements; supervisory experience; Working knowledge of architectural drawings, shop drawings and floorplans; Install cabinets, countertops, trim, wall panel systems; Submit time sheets, expense reports, daily reports and progress photos electronically
