Job Summary
Lead Financial Controls Analyst within Wells Fargo's Enterprise COSO testing team, focusing on Business Process Automated Controls (BPACs) and IT controls across financial reporting. Responsibilities include leading IT automated control testing (TOD/TOE), interpreting control design and data flows, coordinating with stakeholders and external auditors, identifying control gaps and opportunities for automation, and guiding governance and remediation efforts. Requires SOX/COSO framework knowledge, ERP systems experience (SAP/Oracle), and strong communication skills to mentor teams and drive control improvements across enterprise processes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting or Business and Technology Audit experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- BS/BA degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, or Information Technology
- One or more of the following certifications: CISA, CPA, CIA, CRISC
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools
- Experience with Internal Audit/Big 4 environments or large financial institutions
- Knowledge of SOX/COSO frameworks and regulatory expectations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present results and recommendations
- Experience collaborating with financial and IT audit teams on integrated audits
