Job Summary
Lead IT change initiatives across Finance reporting and accounting platforms by collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and shape functional design documents. Analyze finance data flows, identify gaps, and optimize reporting components using SSRS, Cognos, SQL, and the MS BI Stack to drive system performance improvements. Conduct root-cause analysis for BAU issues, execute unit, system, SIT, and UAT cycles, and manage enhancement requests with structured release governance. Support the month-end and quarter-end reporting lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery while providing post-go-live support and maintaining data integrity across AMIS and ER systems.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience working in Finance Technology or Financial Reporting within a banking or financial services environment
- Solid hands-on background with reporting tools such as SSRS, Cognos, MDX, SQL, Microsoft BI Stack, and T24
- Strong understanding of Finance data flows, adjustments processes, control frameworks, and the month-end lifecycle
- Experience supporting GAAP/IFRS reporting, management reporting, or Basel / RWA / capital reporting
- Experience with ETL concepts, performance tuning, and large-scale data processing
- Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Control-M or similar
- Proven experience delivering IT change, with strong understanding of project lifecycle, governance, documentation, and testing standards
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex data/reporting issues
- Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders across Finance, Technology, and offshore teams
- Strong communication skills, able to present complex information clearly and concisely
- Experience preparing test strategies, test plans, scripts, and ensuring high-quality releases to production
